DETROIT, MI – Bankers Edge Advisory, LLC today announced that Neal Searle has joined the firm as an Independent Advisor and Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Searle will focus on debt capital markets and strategic financing advisory, bringing more than two decades of experience across executive leadership, commercial banking, credit administration, and capital structuring to the firm’s middle-market platform.
Most recently, Mr. Searle served as Managing Director of Creative Asset Strategies, LLC, a consulting firm he founded specializing in strategic planning, loan placement, and M&A advisory for middle-market companies. Previously, he served as President, CEO, and Director of Lotus Bancorp, Ltd., where he led the institution’s turnaround – driving asset growth, exceptional credit quality, and consistent profitability – culminating in a successful merger with Level One Bank.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Searle founded Bank of Auburn Hills, building the institution from its charter to over $80 million in assets with a focus on commercial real estate and small business lending. He spent the first eighteen years of his career at Michigan National Bank, rising to First Vice President of Midwest Business Banking, where he managed financial services for commercial clients across the region. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Western Michigan University.
